The Question Of Booster Seats and The Minibus

Here at 8th Ashford Scout Group we are very fortunate to operate 2, 17 seater Minibuses. These are used by each Section within the group. They are both fully fitted with individual seat belt restraints, tested and compliant with current regulations.

We are often asked by parents should we use booster seats in the minibus?

The answer to that is no, the booster seats designed for cars for individuals that are below the height of 135cm, are not suitable to use on the seats of the minibus.
